Differential shafts
Ashe’s unique differential rewind shafts provide fully automatic differential control. The shaft carries a series of 25mm wide clutches that translate a PLC profiled air pressure in the shaft into controlled differential winding tension at each core station.

Clutches have core gripping capabilities on ball bearings that you can select for overwind, underwind and off, giving a wide tension range.
