1976 – Foundation of ASHE Controls Ltd manufacturing electronic drive control systems.

1980 – Launch of ASHE Controls 4 quadrant DC servo drive.

1983 – First rewinding machine built and sold in the UK.

1988 – Moved to purpose built facility on Ransomes Euro Park , Ipswich , to facilitate rewinder capacity and the impending launch of the Sapphire slitter rewinder.

1990 – Launch of first Sapphire slitting and rewinding machine at Drupa Exhibition.

1997 – Trading name formed of ASHE Converting Ltd to reflect change in business from drive control company to slitter rewinder manufacturer.

1998 – Launch of the Opal series of machinery for the self adhesive label industry.

2001 – Launch of Jade series individual arm slitter rewinder.

2001 – A new £250,000 extension completed to our plant in Ipswich to facilitate growing demand for ASHE machinery.

2003 – Machine number 500 reached.

2005 – Landmark record year for ASHE.
