The
Opal Label Inspection Slitter Rewinder is available in 3 web configurations,
330mm, 410mm and 510mm, which are relative to press sizes on the market
today. The standard format of the machine includes 76mm unwind air shaft,
web clamps, splicing table, edge guider, shear slitting station, 76mm rewind
shaft and the most accurate tension control system developed by ASHE.
The machine also incorporates 2 digital AC drives and an advanced PLC with operator interface by screen.
There is an extensive list of optional equipment which can be added onto
the machine. Below you can see some of the items that can be placed onto
the standard machine:
Missing label detection systems for all types of label. - Facilities for inspection, i.e., stroboscope.
- Male knife bar lift off facility, or lift out cartridge system for ease of offline knife setting.
- Web advance system for ease of aligning new cores with the material.
- Flag and splice detection.
- Duplex rewind (two rewind shafts).
- Range of different core/shaft sizes.
