Opal ECNarrow-Web Label Inspection Slitter Rewinder
The Opal EC narrow-web slitter rewinder has been designed to be an entry-level cost label inspection slitter rewinder. The range has been developed to slit and rewind (and inspect if necessary) die-cut labels.
The machine utilizes the latest AC brushless motors and advanced PLC control which gives it accurate and repeatable tension control, along with ease of operation.
Different rewind core sizes are available on the machine along with various options such as unwind reel lift, missing label detection, web advance systems and inspection systems/control.

- Driven rotary shear slitting as standard with optional razor or crush slitting
- Full manual lateral adjustment of the knives during running
- High speed operation with standard stop and start
- Easy lock / unlock rewind shafts to run any size rewind core between 25mm to 152mm (1” to 6”)
- Unwind and pre slitting adjustable splicing tables with pneumatic clamps
- Length (metres or feet) and label count control
- HMI operator touch screen control
- Full ethernet VPN link for online diagnostics via ASHE
