ASHE Converting Equipment @ K 2025

During the exhibition ASHE will be displaying a 1650mm wide (65”) Sapphire s3 duplex slitter rewinder along with a mid web 800mm wide Solitaire duplex slitter rewinder.

The s3 has been developed by ASHE to be a fully automated slitter rewinder with minimal operator input.

The machine will feature a loading system on the unwind for the master rolls which will automatically position the unwind into the correct position when at the correct height. This is configured with the automatic knife positioning and automatic rewind core positioning which means minimal operator input as the machine virtually sets itself.

The are many options available on the s3 such as a linear or radial layon system which can incorporate automatic cross cutting systems and automatic taping devices for web stick down to core and for closing the finished rolls, along with a varirty of offloading options which include full width rewind offloading systems, conveying, labelling, weighing and palletizing solutions.

The machine can be configured to handle most substrates.

Along with the Sapphire s3 on display the company will also present its range of duplex turret slitter rewinders which feature minimal downtime for changeovers along with all the automation that will be shown on the s3.

The Solitaire machine on display is an 800mm wide machine which is the perfect solution for a mid web application. The machine is designed to slit and rewind flexible packaging substrates, papers and pressure sensitive products.

Automation is also available on the Solitaire and a semi automated knife positioning system will be demonstrated on the machine along with the rewind core positioning.

Both machines feature ASHE’s core solutions for ease of maintenance such as all electric systems which do not rely on hydraulics, vacuum rollers for tension isolation and our patented lubrication free differential rewind shafts.

Along with the machines on display ASHE will also present its Jade series of secondary slitter rewinders which offer many different solutions for manufacturers of films and metallised films.
