Where it all began

Our journeyfrom pioneer to global leader

The business began with only three people. At the time, this team focused on manufacturing Drive Control Systems. We were among the first companies to pioneer a completely reversible rewinding machine. From this foundational innovation, it was a natural progression to expand our expertise. This brought us into the full range of slitting and rewinding machinery.

We now engineer and manufacture a complete portfolio of slitting and rewinding machines. These machines have capabilities spanning web widths from 300mm to 8.7m.

Our primary manufacturing base remains in Ipswich, United Kingdom. This is on top of our dedicated subsidiary in the USA. We have a workforce of approximately 75 personnel. It includes a robust team of mechanical engineers using modern 3D CAD systems. They work in tandem with our in-house software and electrical engineers. Our team devotes itself to developing all machine software for our equipment.

We've equipped our Ipswich plant with advanced machine tools. This enables us to manufacture up to 80% of our machine parts in-house. Such vertical integration provides us with tremendous flexibility in our production range. This allows us to engineer a machine to a customer's specifications. It also allows us to promise the precision and quality of each component that goes into our machines.
